Woody92 (DJ) works like an alchemist in his sets, mixing mystical ambient with mind-altering electronics, psy-influences and tripping techno. What emerges from the vapours are sets that have the quality of abstract sound works and transcendental sets. Ingredients that influence his sets are not only to be found in sound, but contain elements from history, graphic design, and the path of religion.
After his regular presence at Dekmantel Festival, Dekmantel Selectors, his recurring sets at De School and his own Neo Cleptu online show at French Lyl Radio, Woody92 is now a well-known international name. Currently, he’s launching a new label and multidisciplinary platform Omen Wapta in his hometown Delft. Omen Wapta brings the listener to unmapped areas of the mind that draws on hypnagogic visions. An odd-shaped playground for the imagination consisting of multiple styles.
Woody92 is presented in collaboration with The Rest Is Noise | Muziekgebouw. It is part of a rescheduled programme that was to take place in the summer of 2021.
